Because DVD Shrink is no longer updated to take on board new encryptions within DVD media you are going to encounter this problem quite a lot.Especially if any of the media you are trying to duplicate has anyhting on it which mentions Sony. There are a varied amount of films around today which have some difficult encryptions to get over. Cyclic Redundancy is usually down to either a dirty or scratched disc but mostly down to encryption. The best way although sometimes this won't work but it is never the less something to try?Get DVDFab dycrypter and rip the files from the DVD to your HD, Then through shrink click on files and find the folder on your HD. Hopefully DVD Shrink will Analyse the media and then encode. Normally if none of this works i use a standalone DVD recorder through a video enhancer and then reburn the disc with no encryption then through my p.c to remove all the rubbish. This works every time.
